Journey: The process of discovery and transformation that happens as we embrace God’s love and purpose for our lives.
You are someone special. You were in the Father’s heart before the world began. When God talks about you, He has incredible things to say. When I was talking to God the other day, He had a lot to say about you. Yes you! He was telling me how much He loved you. He was showing me that His love is so different from what we understand as love. He actually said He has plans for you. He said they are good plans, plans to prosper you, and give you a hope and future.
He said that He will provide every need you have, and that He has given to you everything pertaining to life! He said that His word will heal your diseases, and give you joy like you never imagined. He also said that He wants you to live in His presence. Would you like to meet Him? He made you. You aren’t a mistake. He told me that people have lied to you about who He is. It brings great sadness to His heart. He loves you so much. He has so much more to share with you personally. He wants to set the record straight.
Are you ready for the journey?
Jesus is waiting for you. He saw you when you were crying; He knows the despair in your heart. He knows about the rage, the frustration, the selfishness, even what you said about Him. He also knows how hard you have tried so many times to do right. He understands your confusion. He knows why deep down inside it just isn’t working. The habits you have developed to occupy yourself and fill your life, they do just that. They fill your life, but He knows that you have those moments of honesty, of clarity, that you just really don’t know what you are doing. You’re not a fool; you know there is a God. Well, Jesus is alive right now. He is just beyond the veil of our understanding, sitting at the right hand of the Father. He wants so badly for you to accept what He did for you. He wants you to see what life can be like with His presence. It takes something called faith to receive that. You know you have missed the mark in your life. You can try to hide it, but it is pointless. We have all missed the mark, like a 3 year old boy trying to use the toilet, there just some major cleanup to do. We can grab some toilet paper and wipe it up, but there is a stain left. It may be crude, but it is true. We all have a lot of ugly in our life. We can dress it up, but if we are tired of playing kid games, maybe we can be honest.
Jesus came and invaded the earth with love and power 2,000 years ago. He demonstrated who God was to us all. Then He took it beyond the place any revolutionary took it, He called Himself God! It gets crazier. He actually allowed Himself to be killed by a brutal death on a cross. What He did, in the likeness of man, He took on the sin of all mankind. The collective ugliness and pain of all humanity, and bore it all. He died. The greatest miracle of all time, beyond His conception, and all the miracles He performed was what happened next. He was raised from the dead! Father God took Jesus’ sacrifice and accepted it. Jesus stated that He is the door, the way, the truth, the life, no one can come to the Father but by Him. Nobody else can give us access, because nobody else loved us so much and paid the price Jesus paid. That is why He is the King. That is why His Kingdom will know no end. That is why you need to call out to Him this very moment. You need to raise your voice and call on Him! He made a way for you to live! You were not created to die, so live now! Receive Christ in your heart, and come with us on the journey God has for you!
